The disposable cameras you have commonly known and probably even used is a
simple conventional box camera that uses roll films installed within it for a single use session only. While most
of them are not equipped with a flash, some utilize an integrated flash unit that is also designed to hold until
the film in the camera runs out. Most of these cameras are not equipped with focus lenses so it is a bit hard to
get good pictures out of these cameras without having good enough skill and or luck. How it works is usually by
buying them, and then uses the whole roll and returns it back to the shop where they would open it, take out the
film and process it afterwards. The results would be virtually the same quality as photos taken from a conventional
camera that uses focus free lenses. These cameras are very different with a disposable digital
camera.
With the advancement of the photography technology, you can now opt to use
either film or disposable digital cameras. If you think using a normal digital camera is too hard, you should try
using the disposable digital camera as an option. It has almost all features a normal camera digital would have
such as LCD screen and camera memory. These features of course depend on what type or model you bought. You can
also get all the advantages a normal digital camera would have like photo previews, a flash, a timer, and photo
manipulation as well as the ability to delete the photos you don’t want and get another picture. These features
definitely beat all the conventional Kodak disposable camera features by
miles.
There are of course some disadvantages when taking images with the disposable
digital cameras that you don’t usually get when using a normal digital camera. The most visible disadvantage is not
being able to use the zoom or night mode functions and most more complicated features that come with a very
expensive digital camera. The good thing is, you won’t spend as much money by using the disposable ones. On events
that present danger for your expensive digital camera, you can opt in buying these digital disposable cameras and
leave your precious digital camera for safer occasions like your children’s birthday or graduation. These cameras
would only cost you between ten to twenty bucks and you can get virtually the same quality picture you need to
immortalize the moments you want without risking breaking your more expensive
camera.
After using these cameras however you cannot connect them to your PC and has
to be brought to the retailers where you bought them in the first place. They would then process the digital images
for you and copy it to a CD or a DVD so you can keep it and take it home with you. By buying the disposable digital
camera you would be saving money and time all in a single purchase.
